The Gingerbread House

A little Cornish hideaway, full of character.

Once the village bakery, The Gingerbread House is a charming Grade II listed cottage tucked away in the heart of St Mawes, just a couple of minutes' stroll from the harbour, beaches and village life.

Full of original features and lived-in charm, it's a place for slow mornings, salty swims, long lunches and evenings curled up by the fire. With beautiful views across the water from the property, the sea is never far from sight.

Inside the house

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and lovely sea views, while the second bedroom has two single beds, one of which can be extended into a double. There's also space for a travel cot, making the house well suited to families with little ones.

The bathroom features a shower, double sinks, drawer storage & a beautiful freestanding roll-top bath, perfect for a long soak after a day spent exploring.
